Your eyes so expressive and tiny
disappear when they smile at me.
I love that face, I love that grace.

You’re welcome, but really,
it didn’t cost me a lot,
just a small thought.
I’m glad you like it so.

I think that as we enjoy our company
years of friendship we’ll have many.
To think of how we started is so funny.

I was thankful, but really,
It didn’t cost you a lot,
just a small sweet roll
which I really liked so.

My eyes so expressive and big
disappear in my big red cheeks
when I smile, so they look like his.
